Quality and environment
The quality and reliability of our products, permanent innovations, above average service and support for our customers as well as a high adherence to delivery dates and deadlines have our highest priority.
ISO 9001 as fundamental quality management system is installed by the CTP GmbH without limitations and is audited by TÜV Süd in regular intervals. Certificate
One quality aspect regarding the suitability if used as intended is described by the physical and chemical product requirements. These are characteristic for the respective product and are binding specified in the product specifications.
Legal requirements and recommendations, which are requested of each product depending on its use, supplement the classical quality features.
The development of international markets and growing globalization require increasingly harmonizing rules defining uniform terms and practices beyond all borders.
The CTP GmbH confirms with a special document, the “Certificate of Compliance“ (CoC), the conformity with these requirements (“Regulatory Compliance“) and their continuous monitoring.
REACH
All products of the CTP GmbH comply with the requirements of the Regulation (EU) No. 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and Council dated 18 December 2006 pertaining to the registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction of chemicals (REACH) in the currently valid version.
"CLP Regulation"
The classification of all products of the CTP GmbH proceeds in accordance with the currently applicable version of Regulation (EU) No. 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and Council dated 16 December 2008 pertaining to the classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures, which amend and revoke the Guidelines 67/548/EEC and 1999/45/EU and amend the Regulation (EU) No. 1907/2006 (REACH). The CLP directive is based on the recommendation of “Globally Harmonised System“ (UN-GHS) of the United Nations. GHS creates a bridge between already existing systems in North America and the European Union.
Safety data sheets
Customers of the CTP GmbH receive a current safety data sheet for each product in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2015/830 of the Commission dated 28 May 2015, which amends the Regulation (EU) No. 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and Council regarding the registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction of chemicals (REACH), Annex II, Requirements for the compilation of safety data sheets, even if it is not a hazardous substance or preparation.
Preserving agents
Technical preparations often require preservation to protect them from bacterial or fungal attacks. Thus, the product gains storage stability and the risk of a microbial contamination will be reduced for the duration of the application.
The CTP-GmbH exclusively uses substances and preparations approved by BfR (German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment) and CFR Title 21. Specifically all used biocides comply with the Regulation (EU) 528/2012 concerning the making available on the market and use of biocidal products (BPR).
Substances of very high concern
The CTP GmbH has a special focus on the compatibility of products with humans and the environment by already existing products and when new products are developed. Thus, it is a particular concern to avoid the use of substances considered to be SVHC for manufacturing products.
The basis for identifying substances, which are classified as SVHC, is the ECHA candidate list of substances of very high concern for authorisation published according to Article 59 Paragraph 10 or the Regulation (EU) No. 1907/2006 [REACH].
Attention is also paid to the list of substances and preparations described in the Regulation (EU) No. 1907/2006 [REACH], Annex XVII (Restrictions on the manufacture, placing on the market and use of certain dangerous substances, mixtures and articles), which are also not used for manufacturing our products.
Environmentally hazardous substances (CFC / pesticides)
Paper and paper products are still of great importance because of their diverse areas of application and their environmental compatibility. As with all natural resources is not only the careful treatment with the material decisive for our environment but also the selection of materials used for manufacturing and refining the material.
These should not have a harmful influence on water and climate, not during the manufacturing process nor when used as intended.
The international agreements below regulate dealing with substances, which are extremely hazardous to the environment:
- The Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer (ODS)
- Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP)
No product of the CTP GmbH does contain any fluorinated hydrocarbons or chlorofluorocarbons (CFC) and/or other alkyl halides or pesticides.
In addition to the applicable requirements for all products and the confirmed adherence to our “Certificate of Compliance“ (CoC), our products also meet additional special regulatory demands.
We are pleased to prepare customer-specific confirmations on request, which document the compliance with these specific regulatory requirements after careful examination.
